I have never had acrylics, preferring my own nails. If your nails are strong, a mani won't make them more brittle. My only problem with professional manicures is that the polish seems to come off more quickly than when I do my own nails. The same doesn't hold true of pedicures. I love pedicures, they make me feel more pampered, and they last a long time.
Well, I don't think much of them, since my mother owns two beauty salons, I get them free. I get them almost every week and I haven't experienced my nail chipping BECAUSE I have them painted.





Btw, I prefer real nails, fake ones are obvious, and it looks really thick. Idk, just from what I've seen. I never got 'em.
