How to do homemade manicures?

I'm having a sleepover for my fifteenth and I wanted to do homemade manis and pedis. I already got some pedi ideas from a magizine, but i have no idea how to do the whole manicure part!!! Help!!!! the party's in three days!!How to do homemade manicures?

P.S. don't think that you need the same brands these people have, just use what you have or get cheap nail polish at Walgreens or Target. NYC and Wet N' Wild are good brands. But definitely invest in a clear coat!

sound like so much fun ! here are some manicure ideas you can use for your feet and hands these ingridients are more than prefect to get into that refreshing heavenly feel , first start by washing your feet or hands ( whatever you choose first ) in warm water clip them nice and straight ,and here are these natural manicures you can make !


for your hands and feet ,





strawberry foot and hand scrub





this fruity recipie helps remove dry skin from the soles of your feet and dry skin of your hands , while it moisturizes ,





you will need :





2 heaping teaspoons fine oatmeal


6 strawberries


2 tabelspoons olive oil


2 teaspoons thickenend creaam


mixing bowl and spoon





use the spoon to crush the strawberries into a fine mash in the mixing bowl





add the remaining ingredients and mix together thoroughly





gently massage the mixture into your feet and hands for several minutes . then rinse off.





this mixture will not keep , so you need to mix a new batch each time you use it .





Lavender Bath Salts





pour a teaspoon or two of these bath slats into your foot or hand bath and soak away .





you will need





2 cups epsom salts


1/4 teaspoon glycerine


4-6 drops lavender essential oil


2-4 drops purple food coloring


Mixing bowl and spoon


glass storage jar with lid , large enough to hold the mixture





place the epsom salts , glycerine , esstential oil and food coloring in the mixing bowl





mix throughly until all ingredients are combined





spoon the bath salts into the storage jar and seal well to keep out the moisture .

you will need





base coat


bright yello nail polish


red,green and blue nail polishes


fine craft brush


top coat


selection of colored stock on jewels





paint a base coat on your toenails , allow to dry , then paint a coat of yellow polish , allow to dry





carefully place a very small drop of red , green , and blue polish on each nail , then use the craft brush , to stir the colors together in a swirling motion , don't stir to much , just enough to mix the colors in a cirrcular pattern . allow to dry





paint on a glossy top coat , allow to dry





now stick a colored jewel on the base of each of your toes for a far out dazziling effect !

If you buy french manicure guides and light pink and white polish you can give everyone french manicures, or if you put stickers or pieces of paper on your nails then paint them over with clear polish you can have your own design. A basic spa manicure involves soaking the hand in warm water with stuff to remove the cuticle then taking it off and shaping the nail and then putting on cream and getting your hand massaged and then they paint the nail. Hope that helps, I did manicures at a party once, it was really fun, but you'll want a helper if you invited more than 5 girls.
first off, soak your hands in warm water, clip and file the nails, then put some cuticle oil on the cuticles to soften them. then, push them back or trim them. next, do a hand massage with some body cream on each hand. Then polish. Use a base coat, color, then a top coat, and VOILA!

put them right under the white tip of your nail


when your painting the tips %26amp; LET IT DRY


before you take it off.
first off,they arent called ';homemade'; they arent a type of food.


second. get some nail polish, brush it against your nail!
