Do you think getting manicures and pedicures are a waste of money?

manicures i can do myself no problem... but pedicures are much different... I love the way they make my feet feel like they are walking on pillows :) so yes to me it is worth the money...especially in summer with the sandalsDo you think getting manicures and pedicures are a waste of money?
they rnt a waste of money but they can be part of your beauty reigeme at home liek they r ded easy

but if u are going out somwhere special then you might wanna go to a proffessional so they look a little special for the occasian.

but some poeple can do them at home by themselves and they look awsome and they cost next to nothing once u buy the products because they last a whole and u dont have to pay regularly for them to be filled :]Do you think getting manicures and pedicures are a waste of money?
Mani Pedi actually helps avoid nail infections, fungus and other harmful things to the body...so definetly not a waste but buying a nail brush and nail kit at him can be last costly...

check the local dollar store or beauty supply store for simple kit it may include a file some clear polish a nail clipper...things like that so you can sit in the confort of your home =)

HOPE I HELPED =D
yes I do.! Those are things you can do yourself, unless you have a foot problem, or an ingrown toenail or something like that.As for false nails I really thing they are the most ridiculous thing ever invented, and far too expensive. But that's only my opinion.... :)
not at all, i dont like getting the color because it seems like it doesnt last as long. the color eventually chips off, but if you go and get all the treatments done, (cuticles back, and cutt off) clear polish , my fave. it looks so nice and clean
Not at all. I think its a great way to relax. It all depends on your priorites. If your feeling stressed, or just care about your looks then you may enjoy a mani/pedi. Some people think that it is stupid and a waste of time. Its all a perspective thing i think.
I personally do but I can understand why some people like doing things for themselves. Did them an excuse to have ';alone'; time or do something they enjoy that's relaxing. My mom loves getting her nails done but I can't justify getting it done. I'd rather get a facial!
Yes I do! I've had a manicure and a pedicure before and afterwards wondered why the hell I bothered paying for something I can do just as well myself!

In fact, people often ask me if I ';get my nails done'; when I've actually just done them at home myself!
I say for either no, they are pretty cheap, and I'll be damned to let you know that it actually feels good when it's done. It's not about how it looks afterwards, it actually keeps your nails healthy.
yes!

i am 20 years old and have never head a manicure or pedicure, i like to do it myself.

i think it is a waste of money when you can learn to do it yourself.
No, if it makes your toes and fingernails look neater then it's not. You also should want to pamper yourself.
Yes, I think so. I'd rather spend that money on an amazing dress or flattering top that everyone would notice.
Not at all! They're a fantastic way to relax and unwind, and have your toes and fingers look beautiful as well!
yes, and a sign of laziness- for the same price you could buy all the supplies and do your own manicures for months
Nothing is a waste of money if you enjoy it and don't mind spending money on it.
no i dont think so! but if your one of those girls who goes and gets them done every other week than yes! i get mine done every once in a while
no, because they make us women look even more beautiful then we already are and it shows the men that we love to look good for them!
they are cute but i dont paint my nails or anything u keep mine short and put lotion on alot cuz thats how i like them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktAvn0Mdo鈥?/a>
noooope.
for guys, hell yes

for girls, nope.
yes, sponsor a child instead
!if you have money and no time, then its not a waste!!!
