How can I extend the time between manicures?

a week or so after a manicure my cuticles will start looking horrible and the skin above my nail will start coming up and it will be dry and I will have to bite it off or cut it off with clippers, what can I do to keep the maintenance down, its really annoying and disappointingHow can I extend the time between manicures?
Ok this I'm sure I can help with! Use cuticle oil. I prefer to use solar oil by Creative Nail. It's fantastic and I can assure you your manicurist will thank you and You will be very happy! How can I extend the time between manicures?
I'm havng trouble answering your question. I'll try and be brief. Just wait until after your bath or shower, when your skin in wet and softened, then use your towell to wipe away your excess cutical--and never cut it off with scissors or any other device! You'll do just fine that way. You'll see. Enjoy it for your lifetime.

The problem your nails have is because the ';esthetician'; is cutting your cuticles.

We are not supposed to do that! When you start cutting, the grow bigger faster and harder. In one word, uglier.

Don't allow nobody tu cut them again, they should be gently pushed back, and a nip here and there is fine, but just to get rid of hang nails, never to get rid of the whole cuticle.

Cuticle is there for a purpose, is like a ';caulking'; for you body, when you open it, you can get any kind of infections, local and general.

I recommend you to change salon, and look for another one, ask to talk to the esthetician and ask her if she cut cuticles. You know what to do if she says yes.

I know your manicure looks perfect at the beginning, but like you said, in just one week is gonna look like a disaster.

Do this to get better: Heat in the microwave olive oil, for 15 sec. soak your nails on it and give a gentle massage, do it 3 o 4 days a week for at least 15 minutes. The second part is to give your cuticles alone, dont try to nip them and please don't bite them to rip them off!

Get a good esthetician who know that is really bad for you and in the other hand that is ILLEGAL to cut your skin.

Be patient and you gonna get better. Hope you can use my advise.
