Really the only way to make a manicure last longer is to use a good top coat. If you have nice nails, I would go with a manicure. Even when they are taken off by a proffessional, extensions can damage your natural nails, and make it harder to grow them out.Manicures?
You could easily prevent a manicure from chipping. After your manicure, Buy a nail polish that is clear and is labled top coat. Make sure it says top coat on it because regular clear won't do anything. Once you buy it apply 2-3 coats on your nails and let it dry. That should help prevent chipping. If you really want extensions then get them but you could always just get some cheap fake nails or nail polish that make nails grow longer.
I don't think there is anything you can do to make it last longer I would get the manicure extensions damges your hair
