On 90210 and Melrose Place there were two comments about french manicures?

I heard Naomi say she probably has french manicured toes and on Melrose Sydney said you would still be wearing french tips if it weren't for me. Both these statements seemed negative so my question is why did they act like it's so awful to have nails like that I thought it was in style to wear a french manicure I see everyone wearing it.On 90210 and Melrose Place there were two comments about french manicures?
Who the hell cares what they think? I wear French, I actually do them myself on my nails and my toes all the time and I love it. I have never heard of French manicures being ';out';. Wear what you like.On 90210 and Melrose Place there were two comments about french manicures?
I thought I was the only one that noticed! I think the writers of the CW just wanted to push their own ideas of what's in... not very strange actually
