What is the different between acrylics and french manicures?

When you get acrylics, are they the same as a fench manicure? What are gel fillers, or silk tips or whatever they are called? What is the different between acrylics and french manicures?
acrilics are actual fake nails, french manicures are when they do a really fancy paint job, with white tips! silk tips are the white tips, and gel fillers are acrilic re-bases, when the nails grow out, and they add more near your cuticle. What is the different between acrylics and french manicures?
They are the same thing... a french manicure a style (design) of acrylic nails..... wen u get a fillin that mean u r goin to add more glue to the sides..i don noe if its glue but its this white powder liquid kind of thing.....A french manicure has a white line going across the top...
Acrylic is the type of powder they use on your nail, gel is also used on your nail. French Manicure is the paint job where the tips are white.
